Recipe: 15-bean and ham soup, courtesy of Kathleen Murchison of Kathleen's Café.

Ingredients 1 lb ham 2 cups of onion 5 cloves of garlic 1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes 1 bag of 15-bean mix. Allow to soak overnight. 2 48 ounce-cans of chicken or vegetable broth Directions

Place beans in large pot, cover with 2 qts. of water. Wash beans with water.

Bring beans and broth to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.

Add onion, garlic and ham and stir. Cook on medium for 30 minutes.

Add tomatoes and salt and pepper.
