WHAT YOU NEED

Wood beads in at least two different sizes Acrylic paint Buttons Felt scraps Tacky glue or hot-glue gun (for use by an adult) HOW YOU DO IT

Choose an animal. Pictured here are a bunny and chick, but you can choose any animal. Select your paint colors and felt scraps based on the animal of your choice. Let your imagination go wild here - pink cats, purple pigs, blue bears, anything goes!

Paint your wooden beads to match the color of your chosen animal. Let dry. Depending on the thickness of the paint, you may need to add a couple coats of paint.

Glue a smaller bead on top of a larger bead. The holes on the top bead should be on the sides and the holes on the bottom bead should be on the top and bottom. Let dry.

Find buttons that cover the holes on the top bead. Glue onto the bead and let dry. These are your buddy's eyes.

Use felt scraps to create other features like ears, feet, wings, etc.
