Kunze is right for 24th District
To the editor:
With the creation of the new 24th House District combining Upper Arlington with Hilliard, our community has the important responsibility and decision to elect a new representative to the Ohio House.
Upper Arlington residents have always demanded Statehouse representation that rises above partisanship, ideology and special interests, representation that not only does what is right for Upper Arlington, but also what is right for central Ohio and the state as a whole. This year, that person is Hilliard City Council member Stephanie Kunze.
As a Hilliard City Council member, Kunze has a proven record of fiscal responsibility and job creation. During these difficult economic times, Kunze has led efforts to not follow the misguided impulses of other communities to damage their economic growth through tax increases and wasteful spending. She has made the difficult budgetary decisions to ensure prosperity and job creation.
Kunze's record of fiscal responsibility and job creation are two characteristics that we need in the Ohio House representing Upper Arlington. Kunze and her family have strong ties to Upper Arlington, as they attend church, participate in community activities and have business connections throughout Upper Arlington. It has been through these ties and our respective roles as members of council that I have had the pleasure of working with Kunze on issues facing Upper Arlington.
Kunze understands the challenges facing Upper Arlington and Ohio and she has positive solutions to address those challenges. As a lifelong resident of Upper Arlington and a member of the City Council, I strongly endorse Stephanie Kunze as the most qualified and dynamic candidate to represent all of Upper Arlington and the best interests of the state of Ohio. Please join me in voting for Stephanie Kunze on Nov. 6 for the Ohio House.
