To the editor:

The fifth annual Hilliard Fall Festival and Music Jamboree took place on Oct. 21 at Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park. The event was hosted by the Hilliard Recreation and Parks Department.

As in previous years, those who attended enjoyed performances from Arnett Howard, Mouth of the Wolf Productions and the Columbus DanceArts Academy. There were games and inflatables, camel rides and a petting zoo, a farmers market, the Turtle Lady, a pumpkin carver and horse-drawn hay wagon rides, to name just a few of the activities.

This festival was started in conjunction with Make a Difference Day and supports Patches of Light's Piggy Bank Drive.

I would like to thank the many people that it takes in order to host an event of this size: the recreation and parks department staff, the city service department crew and the many volunteers that help to make the fall festival a continued success.

Finally, I want to express my appreciation to the NFL Youth Flag Football Organization for their ongoing financial support of this community activity.
