To the Editor:

The board of Experience Clintonville would like to thank everyone who was involved in making this year's Clintonville Arts & Music Festival such a wonderful success.

The Sept. 7 event featured beautiful weather and talented musicians and artists all greeting thousands of visitors to the grounds around the Whetstone Recreation Center. The chatter of neighbors greeting neighbors was evident throughout the day.

Special thanks go to the local businesses that believed in the event and helped present it to the community. Weiland's Market was this year's presenting sponsor, the Crest Gastropub sponsored the Kids Corner, Crimson Cup was the main concourse sponsor and O'Reilly's Pub once again sponsored the festival's main stage.

Other financial backers for the festival were Sobo Style, recycling sponsor; the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center, the nonprofit sponsor; Mozart's Bakery & Piano Cafe, indoor sponsor; Wholly Craft; author Trudy Brandenburg; Sew to Speak; and Clintonville Outfitters; while two Friends of the Festival were Advantage Driving School and Dimensions in Light Studio & Gallery.

A number of businesses also stepped up to make in-kind donations to the festival, including Alison Rose, WOSU-Public Media, Columbus Underground, Econo-Haul, Fireball Press, Robbie's Hobbies and Experience Clintonville.

The event also benefited from the skills of Mix 107.9-FM's Mark Dantzer, who served as master of ceremonies.

We all appreciate the way you all stepped up to bring this fun festival to the community this year and we're already looking forward to next year's event. If you'd like more information, please send an email to info@experienceclintonville. com.
