City is at a crossroads and needs more revenue

To the Editor:

This is pretty simple: nearly 30 years without an adjustment, a decaying infrastructure and home values continuing to plummet in the midst of a recovery ... we need this income tax increase.

Reynoldsburg is truly at a crossroads. We can step up and begin the (painful) steps to rebuild our city and property values or choose to continue kicking the can of responsibility into oblivion.

It's our city and it's up to us to correct this.

I sincerely hope we agree to move forward rather than backward.
