To the Editor:
We are a little frustrated that Suburban Natural Gas can charge $1.632 per cfm, including tax, delivery and gas-cost recovery (actual bill), compared to Columbia Gas' website (effective Aug. 31) at $.5111, including delivery, recovery fee, tax and fees. We have called Suburban, only to be told that their price was based on 1,000 homes per year being built in Delaware County, and that rates would be going down.
It has been two years and we are waiting for the promised lower costs. How can Suburban Gas charge that much difference? And how can PUCO approve such a massive difference?
