To the Editor:
Have city officials driven around the Upper Arlington Public Library parking lot lately?
I don't like to nag, but I must once again lodge a complaint regarding the conditions of UA's roads and lots, specifically the lot and driveways at the UAPL. Potholes in and around the driveways are so large and numerous that two-way traffic is difficult.
In other words, it is impossible to miss the potholes. Not to mention the risks of walking from car to library door.
This is a safety issue, first and foremost. Why can't the city do its job? For heaven's sake, isn't citizen safety as important as the Lane Avenue corridor and the areas south of Lane, which seem to receive the bulk of the city's attention and funds for road improvement?
This is winter, so is filling potholes impossible? It is time to get the job done, before someone gets hurt.
