To the Editor:

It was disappointing to read in a recent edition of ThisWeek Tri-Village News that Councilman Steve Reynolds received no support for his proposals to initiate meaningful dialogue regarding a plan to replace the Grandview Heights police and fire station.

The condition of this facility is an embarrassment to our community and does not reflect our appreciation for the public servants who work in it on a daily and year-round basis.

I encourage City Council to address this issue with the same level of urgency that they deemed was appropriate for the municipal pool.
