To the Editor:

The staff at the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center wanted to share with the Clintonville community how grateful we are for the community's support of our work in our neighborhood and in Columbus at large during 2016.

The center is busier than ever, with thousands of people served through our Choice Food Pantry, Senior Supportive Services, Kids Club, Kinship Care, Village In the Ville and more. We truly could not keep up with this growing demand were it not for the generous contributions of our neighbors throughout the Clintonville community.

One recent example of that is our 10th annual Holiday Fundraiser at Mozart's, which was held Dec. 8. Fifteen restaurants and businesses provided food and beverages for our 250 or so guests, helping the CRC to raise more than $27,000 for its programs.

Partnering businesses that served up their tasty treats included Mozart's, Acre, Barley's Brewing Co., Colonial Candy Shoppe, Crimson Cup, Double Comfort, Fusian, Iron Grill, Lavash Cafe, Lineage Brewing, Pattycake Bakery, Pocket Produce, the Crest, Whole World Natural Restaurant and McCarthy's Wildflower Cafe. Please help me let them know how much their involvement is appreciated in our community.

A number of other local businesses donated items to the successful silent auction as well.

On behalf of the thousands of people whose lives are made better because of CRC programs and services, we extend a thank-you to the community for all for its support of our work. We look forward to partnering with them in 2017.
