12:37 a.m. April 27, Napoleon at Barnett Road: Police searched for a juvenile who witnesses said had been shot and robbed, but failed to find him.

1:35 p.m. April 24, in the 3400 block of East Broad Street: A man reported a group of males approached him and demanded that he run free cable television service lines for them. When he refused, one of the suspects grabbed the victim by the throat and took his keys. The victim fell down a flight of steps, but did not need medical attention.

3:15 p.m. April 23, Soft Touch Car Wash, 3240 E. Broad St.: A worker reported a man drove his car through this car wash at about 25 mph, striking a worker with one of the car's side mirrors. The driver then got out of the car and yelled at the worker. The driver then backed over the worker's foot and fled.

11:56 p.m. April 21, East Broad Street at South James Road: A woman reported two people approached her car, one pulling a handgun. The woman said she sped away, striking a trash bin with her car.

3:39 p.m. April 24, in the 400 block of South Weyant Avenue: A man reported another man followed him down an alley behind Eastmoor Academy. The other man attacked him and stole an undetermined amount of cash. Eastmoor staff found the victim and called medics, who took him to Mount Carmel East Hospital where he was admitted in stable condition.

10 p.m. April 27, in the 3600 block of Napoleon Court: A woman reported she was walking to her car at the rear of her apartment when two males approached and demanded her purse. She refused and one of them hit her in the face with a handgun. The two then fled, taking nothing.

1:15 p.m. April 23, in the 300 block of South Ashburton Road: Police responded to a report of shots being fired, but found no damage and no victims.

Burglary reports were made last week from: the 400 block of Gould, the 800 and 1000 blocks of South James and the 400 block of Barnett roads, the 200 and 400 blocks of South Napoleon, the 2800 block of Brownlee, the 900 block of Elizabeth, the 3000 block of East Livingston and the 600 block of South Hampton avenues and the 2900 block of East Mound Street.

Between 10 p.m. April 24 and 10:30 a.m. April 25, in the 3200 block of Allegheny Avenue: A woman reported she left her $3,000 2000 Chevrolet Malibu parked here when it would not start. When she returned, it was gone. Police hadn't towed it and could not find a company that had.
