The American Cancer Society has announced a presentation of "The Last Lecture" with Jeffrey Zaslow, co-author of The New York Times bestseller of the same name, on Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Capitol Theatre, 77 S. High St. in Columbus.

Jeffrey Zaslow, a columnist for The Wall Street Journal, co-wrote "The Last Lecture" with Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch.

Pausch's lecture, first given at Carnegie Mellon shortly after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, reveals his perspective on life and hope. Pausch died in July.

In print, "The Last Lecture" is a best-selling international phenomenon that has been translated into more than 30 languages.

Sponsorships are still available for Zaslow's "The Last Lecture" engagement.

Tickets to the presentation are $30 for general admission or $125 VIP. Both include a post-lecture dessert reception and book signing. VIPs will receive preferred seating, autographed copies of "The Last Lecture" and are invited to enjoy pre-show hors d' oeuvres with the author.

Tickets are available at www.cancer.org/thelastlecture or by calling 1-888-227-6446, extension 3206.
