Dr. Peter Rogers of Nationwide Children's Hospital, along with two of his teenage patients, will present a program on "Current Trends in Adolescent Drug and Alcohol Use: Facing Today's Realities" at 7 p.m. Monday, April 13, in the Cassingham Theater, 250 S. Cassingham Road.

The lecture is part of the Bexley City School District's ongoing Parent Education Series. By bringing in Rogers and his teen panel, school counselors hope to generate an honest dialogue about substance abuse and teens in the Bexley community.

Rogers will present information on real-life stories, current trends, warning signs, treatment options and helpful resources for parents. Rogers is certified in addiction medicine and has been involved in the treatment of more than 2,500 substance-abusing teenagers.
