Sam Korda of Bexley delivered the valedictory address at Columbus Academy's 96th commencement ceremony June 12.

Korda was the recipient of the school's Andrew William Cary Cup and was the faculty's choice to speak for his 91-member graduating class. He also received the Henry Nelson Rose Prize for English, the Sol Morton Isaac Award for editing the school newspaper and the Service Board Award of Merit.

Bexley resident Michael Brown also received the Service Board Award of Merit as well as the Carlile Award for his interest, enthusiasm and commitment for the written word.
