Three members of Bexley Middle School's national award-winning Future City team spent time at the U.S. Space Camp in Hunstville, Ala., last week.

Three members of Bexley Middle School's national award-winning Future City team spent time at the U.S. Space Camp in Hunstville, Ala., last week.

Tom Krajnak, Wyatt Peery and Abigail Sharp represented their team, which also includes Elizabeth Maher, Truman Haycock and Aaron Hutchinson. The students will be high school freshmen this fall.

The team's city of the future, Novo Mondum, won the grand prize at the 2009 National Engineers Week Future City Competition in Washington, D.C., last February. The grand prize package included the trip to Space Camp.

Bexley middle school teacher and team adviser Margaret Englehardt accompanied the students on their trip to Alabama.
