Dr. Roni Cohen-Sandler hopes to provide parents with insight into their teenage daughters when she visits Columbus School for Girls, 56 S. Columbia Ave., on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

Cohen-Sandler will discuss "Understanding the World of Your 21st Century Teen," at 7 p.m. The lecture and question and answer session will be held in CSG's Shedd Theater. The program is open to the community.

Cohen-Sandler is the author of Stressed Out Girls: Helping Them Thrive in the Age of Pressure, Trust me, Mom: Every One Else is Going and I'm Not Mad, I Just Hate You.

She is a clinical psychologist specializing in parents, the issues of women and adolescent girls, mother-daughter relationships and neuropsychological assessments (learning difficulties, attention disorders).
