Matthew K. McGuire of Bexley has joined National Church Residences as the national director of affordable housing compliance.

Matthew K. McGuire of Bexley has joined National Church Residences as the national director of affordable housing compliance.

McGuire will be responsible for assuring that NCR's affordable housing communities conform with low-income housing tax-credit and HUD regulations.

Prior to joining NCR, McGuire was employed as general manager of the Assisted Housing Services Corp. He also worked for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and was the director of facilities and operations in the Reagan White House.

McGuire is a 1979 graduate of Bowling Green State University. He earned a master's of business administration from Capital University.

Bexley residents Donald C. Brey, Eugene B. Lewis and Charles R. Saxbe were recently named "Ohio Super Lawyers" for 2009.

They are attorneys with the firm of Chester Willcox & Saxbe LLP.

"Law & Politics" magazine performs the polling, research and selection of "Super Lawyers." Only 5 percent of lawyers in the state are selected for the honor.
