July 2 – Ben Franklin: An American Hero (11 a.m.-12 p.m.)

Join Bexley Public Library on Saturday, July 2, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. for a special storytime featuring "Benjamin Franklin" aka Ben Heckman (in costume). Learn all about an original American hero as Bexley Public Library celebrates Independence Day. Children will hear a story, watch a video, make a craft, and talk to Ben himself. (For grades K-4)

July 5 – Teen Book Club: Unwind by Neal Shusterman (3-4 p.m.)

Teens can join in the book discussion every other Tuesday this summer at Bexley Public Library. On July 5 from 3 to 4 p.m., the group will discuss Unwind by Neal Shusterman.

July 8 – The Turtle Lady: Nancy Lockard (11 a.m-12 p.m.)

Discover the world of turtles, bearded dragons and amphibians of many kinds with The Turtle Lady, Nancy Lockard, at Bexley Public Library on Friday, July 8, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Enjoy lots of time for touching more than 20 turtles and meeting other surprise guests. (All ages)

July 8 – Books to Movie Club: Flipped (2-4 p.m.)

Children in grades 4-6 are invited to Bexley Public Library's Books to Movies club on Friday, July 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. Kids will discuss the book Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen and play games and answer trivia about the book before watching the movie, Flipped! (For grades 4-6)

July 11 – Explore the World with Jack & Annie: United States—Hawaii (3-4 p.m.)

Explore the culture of Hawaii through stories, games and crafts. Children in grades K-4 will discuss the Magic Tree House book High Tide in Hawaii at Bexley Public Library on Monday, July 11, from 3 to 4 p.m. (For grades K-4) .
