The Montrose PTO conceived of the facility as a way to honor Black and raised funds over the past two years in order to build it. Students performed in various talent shows, sold commemorative bricks and participated in other activities to raise funds.

For more information about the center, contact Quint Gage, Montrose principal at 614-237-4226 or Quint.Gage@BexleySchools.org; or Amy Thompson, Bexley City Schools public information coordinator via phone 614-352-7461 or via email at KeyCommunicator@bexleyschools.org.
