LIBRARY CLOSED

The library will close at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, and will be closed on July 4.

STAR READER BOOK CLUB

Children in grades K-3 are invited to the Star Reader Book Club from 3 to 4 p.m. July 8. Read Story Book Classics by Roberto Piumini and then make a picture book using his style.

MOTHER/DAUGHTER BOOK CLUB

The next Mother/Daughter Club for adults and youth in grades 3-6 will be held 7 to 8 p.m. July 10. Read a book selected by the group, then attend book club where participants will write trivia to challenge friends and share conversations about the story.

MAGIC SHOW

Join Jim Kleefeld from 3 to 4 p.m. July 11, for a magic show about books, dirt, tunnels, bulldozers, moles, miners and all kinds of digging. Youth of all ages are invited.

FARMERS' MARKET BOOK CLUB

Visit the Bexley Farmers' Market from 5 to 6 p.m. July 11, for a book club dedicated to political and personal explorations of food. The market is located at the corner of Parkview Avenue and Main Street. Topics include: July 11, Tomatoland by Barry Estabrook; Aug. 8, Farm City by Novella Carpenter.

PILOT JERRIE MOCK

Susan Reid will share details about former Bexley resident Jerrie Mock, the first woman to fly solo around the world, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. July 11, at the library. This program is for all ages.
