Bexley: Bexley City Pool visitor reports theft from vehicle

A resident of the 400 block of South Parkview Avenue told Bexley police Aug. 4 that an unknown male stole her purse from her vehicle while it was parked in the lot of Bexley City Pool, 2080 Clifton Ave. The purse and its contents are valued at $1,875.

In other recent incident reports from the Bexley Police Department:

* A resident of the 900 block of Mayfield Place reported that on Aug. 8, a man threw rocks and bricks at her vehicle, causing $100 worth of damage.

* An employee of a business in the 2200 block of East Livingston Avenue reported that on Aug. 7, a man stole two cartons of cigarettes valued at $121. The suspect was arrested and the cigarettes were recovered.

* A man reportedly stole six containers of infant formula valued at $100 from a store in the 2500 block of East Main Street on Aug. 7.

* An employee of an office in the 2100 block of Astor Avenue reported that on Aug. 3 or 4, someone stole a computer valued at $408 and a monitor valued at $108.

* A lawn decoration valued at $300 was stolen from a resident of the 2700 block of Sherwood Avenue between Aug. 2 and 4, according to reports.

* A resident of the 700 block of Sheridan Avenue reported that on Aug. 2, someone entered her backyard and destroyed a wooden flowerpot valued at $30.

* An employee of a business in the 2600 block of East Main Street reported that on July 31, an unknown woman stole his phone, valued at $538.
