Expo highlights youth fitness options
The Bexley Health and Wellness Committee, in partnership with Bexley Recreation and Parks and a grant from the Bexley Community Foundation, is planning the first Bexley Family Fit and Fun Expo for noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Cassingham Complex in Bexley.
Bexley children in grades K-8 are invited for activities related to physical fitness and recreational sports, nutrition and education, and Arts in Motion. Opportunities include rock climbing, karate, yoga, basketball, dancing and Futsal.
A Kids Cook off Challenge will be offered, along with healthy snacks at the Healthy Snack Shack.
Those who complete an activity passport have an opportunity to win raffle prizes.
Online advance registration is available with Bexley Recreation and Parks at bexley.org/recreation. An adult must accompany all participants. The first 50 participants to register online receive a free gift.
