Thieves enter residences, take medicine and jewelry

Bexley police said a resident in the 500 block of South Drexel Avenue reported someone entered his apartment Oct. 11 and stole a backpack containing medication and an MP3 player valued at $75.

Another resident in the 700 block of Francis Avenue reported someone entered his residence Oct. 11 and stole various pieces of jewelry, together valued at $800, along with $85 in cash.

In other Bexley police reports:

* A resident in the 900 block of Francis Avenue reported that between Oct. 11 and 12, someone broke into his vehicle and stole a GPS unit valued at $500 and $30 in coins.

* An employee of a business in the 2200 block of East Livingston Avenue reported Oct. 13 that a male suspect stole $50 worth of food items.

* A resident in the 800 block of Village Creek Drive reported that on Oct. 14 or 15, someone shattered the front driver's-side window of his vehicle and stole a computer bag valued at $20.
