Suspects use gun to rob man

A Columbus resident reported that on Dec. 21, two unknown suspects put a gun to his right side and stole his wallet, containing $20, from his right rear pocket while he was in a parking lot in the 900 block of Mayfield Place.

A description of the suspects was not provided, Bexley police said.

In other recent incident reports from the Bexley Police Department:

* A resident in the 900 block of Sheridan Avenue reported that on Dec. 21, someone entered his residence by breaking the rear door window glass and stole a laptop computer valued at $1,700.

* A resident in the 700 block of Sheridan Avenue reported someone entered her unlocked vehicle Dec. 21 and stole a pair of boots valued at $150 and a phone charger valued at $30.

* A resident in the 100 block of North Cassingham Road reported that between Dec. 22 and 23, someone broke the driver's-side window of his vehicle that was parked in his driveway and stole a laptop computer valued at $250.

A second resident in the same block told police someone entered his unlocked vehicle between Dec. 22 and 23 and stole an in-dash stereo valued at $300.

A third resident of the block reported someone entered his garage between Dec. 22 and 23 and stole $200 worth of clothing and $75 worth of CDs from two vehicles.

* A resident in the 100 block of North Ardmore Road told police someone shattered a side window of his vehicle while it was parked in his driveway between Dec. 22 and 23. A designer bag valued at $55 and a bottle of champagne valued at $50 were stolen.

* A resident in the first block of North Stanwood Road reported someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole her wallet between Dec. 22 and 23. The wallet contained three credit cards but no cash, reports stated.

* Someone entered a vehicle belonging to a resident in the 500 block of Stanbery Avenue between Dec. 22 and 23 and stole miscellaneous computer equipment valued at $150. Other items listed as missing include a jacket valued at $120, a backpack valued at $60 and a fleece item valued at $20.

* A resident in the 900 block of Francis Avenue reported someone entered his unlocked garage Dec. 11 and stole a snow blower valued at $80.

* A tire on a vehicle belonging to a Capital University student was slashed between Dec. 3 and 12 while the vehicle parked on East Mound Street between Sheridan and College.

* A resident in the 2600 block of Allegheny Avenue reported Dec. 14 that someone threw a rock at his truck, breaking the driver's-side window and causing $300 in damage.
