Accolades all around

Composer Sydney Guillaume receives a standing ovation after Bexley High School Vocal Ensemble performed his work, "Blogodop," during their Composer-in-Residence Concert held Tuesday, Feb. 25.

The various vocal groups in Bexley's middle and high school have been working with Guillaume and "Blogodop" was commissioned by the Bexley High School Vocal Ensemble. A native of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, who resides in Los Angeles, Guillaume writes film scores for Loyola Productions, a non-profit creative media company, that seeks to promote awareness of cultural and social justice issues.
