Bexley: Pieces of jewelry grabbed from two homes in Bexley

Bexley police said a resident in the 800 block of Cassingham Road reported someone forced entry into her home through a back door and stole multiple pieces of jewelry March 17. No value of the items was listed.

A resident in the 2600 block of East Main Street reported that between March 13 and 18, someone entered the residence by prying open a back door and stole costume jewelry. No value was listed.

In other recent incident reports from the Bexley Police Department:

* A resident in the 900 block of Sheridan Avenue reported someone entered his residence March 17 and stole his wallet and a laptop computer valued at $500.

* A resident in the 800 block of Village Creek Drive reported that on March 14 someone stole his cellphone, valued at $200, from the football field at Bexley High School, 326 S. Cassingham Road.

* A resident in the 900 block of Ferndale Place reported a brown Rumpke trash can was stolen from the front of her residence between Feb. 1 and 28.

* A resident in the 200 block of Cassingham Road reported someone entered her enclosed front porch March 5 and stole a box that had been delivered by United Parcel Service personnel.
