Cassingham sixth-grader Zachary Herman and others cheer and hold up signs during the "Teachers vs. Students" kickball game held Friday, May 16, at the school to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

This was the final event of a week-long service learning series related to cancer awareness. Students also offered their support fellow sixth-grader Daniel Vokhgelts, who has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. The school raised $1,100 for the American Cancer Society. A 5K will be held May 28 at Jeffrey Mansion to raise funds for the Vokhgelts family.
