Bexley: Windows of two vehicles broken, items stolen

Bexley police said a resident in the 800 block of Roosevelt Avenue reported that sometime between May 29 and May 30, someone broke the front passenger window of his vehicle and stole approximately $3 in coins that were inside.

Another resident in the 800 block of Roosevelt Avenue reported someone used an unknown object to break out the rear passenger side window of his vehicle that was parked in the alley at the rear of his house within the same time frame. A black leather book bag containing electronic devices, shoes, jewelry and clothes was stolen, reports stated.

In other recent incident reports from the Bexley Police Department:

* A resident in the 800 block of Montrose Avenue reported that between May 30 and May 31, someone stole a black Cannondale bicycle from his garage.

* A resident in the 800 block of Montrose Avenue reported that between May 30 and May 31, someone threw a rock through a rear window of his house, entered the house through the broken window and left through the front door, leaving the front door ajar. Nothing was reported missing.

* An employee of St. Charles Preparatory School, 2010 E Broad St., reported someone used a rock to break the pedestrian bridge light between May 29 and May 30.

* A resident in the 500 block of Eastmoor Boulevard reported someone threw two eggs at his vehicle between May 24 and May 25. There was no lasting damage, reports stated.
