Bexley: Bicycles stolen from residents

Thieves have wheeled away multiple bicycles in the last couple of weeks, according to Bexley police.

A resident in the 700 block of South Cassingham Road reported that on June 23, someone stole a bicycle from his front lawn.

Then a resident in the 2400 block East Broad Street reported someone stole his black and gray hybrid bicycle sometime between June 25 and June 26.

A resident in the 90 block of South Cassingham Road reported that between June 26 and June 27, someone entered his unattached garage and stole a woman's maroon 26-inch bicycle, along with a weed trimmer.

In other recent incident reports from the Bexley Police Department:

* An employee of a business in the 2500 block of East Main Street reported that on June 25, someone attempted to enter the store through the back door by prying it open, possibly with a crowbar.

* A resident in the 800 block of South Roosevelt Avenue told police someone broke the driver's side window of his truck June 25 and took approximately $10 in change from the console. The vehicle was locked and parked outside near the alley at the rear of his residence.

* A resident in the 30 block of South Remington Road reported someone stole $200 from a small coin purse in her dresser June 27. She also noticed a storm window covering a first-floor side window had been removed.
