The Bexley Water Department will begin flushing city fire hydrants Monday, Aug. 4.
One crew will be assigned to the area south of Main Street; one to the area between Main and Broad streets; and a third to the area north of Broad Street.
Work will continue daily until the process is complete, about one week.
A daily schedule will be available at the city website, bexley.org.
Individuals may notice some water discoloration during this time. Although the water may be cloudy, it is safe to drink. However, residents should avoid doing laundry if the water is discolored.
