St. Charles Preparatory School senior Michael Ricaurte will sign a letter of intent on Thursday, Feb. 3 to play golf at Duke.

Ricaurte was the Division I state tournament medalist with a 144 (71-73) at OSU's Scarlet Course as the Cardinals won their second consecutive state title in convincing fashion. St. Charles finished with a 611, 11 strokes better than runner-up Cleveland St. Ignatius. The total broke the course tournament record of 611 set by Upper Arlington in 1993 and St. Ignatius in 2002.

Ricaurte, a Worthington resident, had an 18-hole average of 75.75 this season and 77.0 as a junior for the Cardinals.
