St. Charles Preparatory School senior Sean Fitzmartin, a Westerville resident, has signed to play football for the University of Dayton.

The Cardinals finished 6-4 overall and third (0-2) in CCL-Silver Division behind Watterson (2-0)  and DeSales (1-1).

The 5-foot-9, 195-pound running back led the Cardinals in rushing with 1,376 yards and 11 touchdowns on 205 carries. The second-team all-district performer also had seven receptions for 179 yards and two touchdowns.
