Ben Hale, David Heil and Nathan Puthoff of St. Charles Preparatory School signed letters of intent Feb. 5 to play college football.
Hale, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound defensive back, signed with Bowling Green. He was second-team all-district in Division II last season with 57 tackles and two fumble recoveries.
Heil, a 6-6, 300-pound offensive lineman, signed with Tiffin. He was second-team all-district last fall.
Puthoff, a 6-5, 290-pound offensive lineman, signed with Kent State. He was first-team all-state and all-district last season.
The Cardinals finished 8-3 overall last fall, losing to Zanesville 38-0 in the first round of the Division II, Region 5 playoffs. They won the CCL-Silver Division at 2-0, ahead of DeSales (1-1) and Watterson (0-2).
