An estimated 400 re-enactors and 4,000 spectators were drawn to Reynoldsburg's Civic Park, 6800 Daugherty Drive, for a Civil War re-enactment Saturday and Sunday, June 23-24.

Now in its seventh year, the event has grown to be the state's largest re-enactment, drawing participants from across Ohio as well as Tennessee, Michigan, Indiana and Maryland.

Besides three simulated battles, spectators were able to tour cavalry, infantry, artillery and medical camps, view the soldiers' life on the battlefield and talk military strategy with President Abraham Lincoln, President Jefferson Davis and generals U.S. Grant, Robert E. Lee and William Sherman, an Ohio native.
