Reward offered for information on Dec. 7 Canal Winchester fire
Madison Township Fire Department Chief Robert Bates announced Thursday afternoon that the two-alarm fire at the abandoned lumber yard in Canal Winchester on Dec. 7 was an arson.
A reward of $5,000 is being offered for information resulting in the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for setting the fire at 45 East Waterloo Street.
Individuals with information related to the Dec. 7 fire or the Nov.30 fire at 6404 Stretton Place, Canal Winchester, that damaged two cars, are urged to call the Madison Township Fire Department at (614) 837-7883.
Bates also announced that the two incidents were not related.
