Central Ohio Diabetes Association Family Fun Walk & Run, 9 a.m. April 27, at Genoa Park in downtown Columbus. In addition to participants, a number of volunteers are needed before, during and after the event. Volunteers will assist with event set-up and tear-down, staffing registration tables and other duties. Lancaster Men's Chorus, "Ham and Eggs" program to celebrate the show's 42nd anniversary, 8 p.m. May 8-11, in the Jeffrey Wagner Theatre at Ohio University-Lancaster. The first half of the show will be based on an original script written by chorus members and directed by Mark Loy. Chorus members are featured in concert during the second half of the show. Tickets are $7 for the May 8 show, $8 for all others. Tickets may be purchased from chorus members or by calling the State Farm Insurance office of Maureen Cefalu at 740-654-0332.

Groveport Madison: We Inspire and Nurture Students (GM: WINS) will sponsor workshops for those caring for children from infants to age 18 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the second Monday of each month at Groveport Madison Middle School North, 5474 Sedalia Drive. Life Line Screenings, May 4, at Heritage Baptist Church, 470 Groveport Pike in Canal Winchester. Screenings identify potential cardiovascular conditions such as blocked arteries and irregular heart rhythm, abdominal aortic aneurysms and hardening of the arteries in the legs. A bone density screening to assess osteoporosis risk is also offered and is appropriate for both men and women. Packages start at $159.
