Faith United Methodist Church will hold its 10th annual Daddy Daughter Dance from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, May 3, at Winchester Trail Elementary School, 6865 Gender Road in Canal Winchester.

This year, for the first time, the dance is open to girls in grades K-12 and their fathers, grandfathers, or any father substitute.

The evening includes music, refreshments and pictures of the participants.

The cost is $20 per couple, $10 for each additional daughter.

Proceeds will go to the Community Food Pantry.

Organizers also will collect new stuffed toys to be donated to Nationwide Children's Hospital.

Registration is required by April 29. For a registration form, email jerryandsue1@sbcglobal.net.

Forms also are available in downtown businesses and churches as well as Faith Educare I&II and David's Extended Care.

In 2012, 374 fathers and daughters attended. Participants contributed 91 stuffed animals for Nationwide Children's Hospital and raised $2,356.38 for the pantry, in addition to a collection of 56 cans of food.
