Artist Margaret Eriksen, who has an art studio in Canal Winchester and lives in southeast Columbus, will have her work featured Oct. 2 through Dec. 15 in the Raymond S. Wilkes Gallery for the Visual Arts in Ohio University Lancaster's Brasee Hall.

Artist Margaret Eriksen, who has an art studio in Canal Winchester and lives in southeast Columbus, will have her work featured Oct. 2 through Dec. 15 in the Raymond S. Wilkes Gallery for the Visual Arts in Ohio University Lancaster's Brasee Hall.

Eriksen's work includes acrylic paintings and sculptures. One of her paintings is titled "Henry the VIII's Flower Garden" because all of the flowers are beheaded. Another piece has a tennis shoe coming through the painting and is titled "Putting My Foot in It." A sculpture of a red animal with black polka dots is called "Not a Giraffe."

The gallery opening for Eriksen's work will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 2. Admission is free. The gallery will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
