Canal Winchester Area Historical Society, presentation featuring Jim Huffman, artist of the "Winchester on the Canal" mural that originally hung at the Canal Winchester Bank, 7:30 p.m. April 1 in the Hockman Meeting Room at the O.P. Chaney Elevator, corner of North High and Oak streets. The mural, depicting Canal Winchester in June of 1887, now hangs in the O.P. Chaney elevator. The meeting is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.

Knights of Columbus, Lenten Fish Fries, 5 to 7 p.m. March 28 and April 4 at the Church of Our Lady, 5225 Refugee Road. The menu includes a choice of freshly prepared fried or baked fish, fries or macaroni and cheese, homemade coleslaw, salad, roll, cheese-potato soup, homemade dessert and a beverage. The Columbian Squires will sell pop for 75 cents a can. Cost is $8 per meal, $10 for all you can eat, $4 for children ages 3-12 and free for children under age 3. Children's meals may consist of servings of macaroni and cheese and fries instead of fish. Proceeds support the charitable works of Council No. 11188. Groveport Bridal, Prom & Party Show, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 6 at the Links At Groveport. Style show is at 2 p.m. More than 30 vendors wii participate. Door prizes will be given away. Admission is $2, donated to the Groveport Madison Choir Boosters.

Canal Winchester Area of Commerce, luncheon, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 9 at the Canal Winchester Community Center, 22 S. Trine St. Canal Winchester Local School District Superintendent James Sotlar will be the keynote speaker. Community members and business professionals are invited. Crossroads Church in Lithopolis and Lancaster, Easter Mega Egg Hunt, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 12 at Miller Park, 409 Memorial Drive, Lancaster, and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 19 at the Canal Winchester High School football field. Children are invited to hunt for 25,000 eggs. The event also includes face painting, food and music.
