Canal Winchester's 2014 Music & Art in the Park, summer concert series, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. July 18 at Stradley Place, north of the city municipal building at 36 S. Canal Winchester Blues and Ribfest, 5 to 11 p.m. Aug. 1 and noon to 11 p.m. Aug. 2, rain or shine, in Historic Downtown, from closed intersection of High and Waterloo streets. The celebration features live blues music, ribs and non-rib food options, children's activities, fan-cooled dining areas, and a beer and wine garden for guests 21 and over.

Lancaster Chorale, auditions for the 32-voice professional choir for the 2014-2015 season, 6:30 to 9 p.m. Aug. 11 at First Presbyterian Church, 222 N.
