9 a.m. Sept. 18, Foster Street at Fallis Road: A Beechwold man reported he was driving south on Indianola. He came to a stop at a non-functioning traffic light, treating it as a four-way stop. A man behind him in a silver minivan came to a screeching halt behind him. The driver began to yell swear words and make obscene gestures. The man drove on, but realized that the silver minivan was following him and making motions as if he were going to hit the victim's car. When they came to this intersection, the other driver yelled for the Beechwold man to stop. He did, fearing that the man in the minivan would hit his car if he did not. The man got out his car and the minivan driver approached him. He sprayed a can of chemical irritant in the victim's face and then threw the container at him. The minivan driver then fled.
