"The recent warm temperatures are making us think of the time right around the corner when we can shed our layers of warm clothing and get back outside," according to spokeswoman Joni Lovett-Schlagenhauf.

This year's event is being held on the morning of Monday, May 30, at the Whetstone High School Stadium, 4405 Scenic Drive.

"For those of you who are Clintonville business owners, or neighbors and friends of the CRC here is an opportunity to contribute to this great cause in a way that increases your business's profile as a community leader," Lovett-Schlagenhauf wrote in an e-mail seeking sponsors for the event.

Supporters are being sought at the $2,000, $500, $250 or $100 levels. Sponsor fees are due by April 15, with a 10-percent discount offered to those who get their money in by March 15. .

The Community Resources Center is a settlement house that serves the needs of the Clintonville-Beechwold neighborhood by helping people receive what they need to live safer, healthier lives.
