An East Weber Road man said he hid when two people kicked in the door of his residence at 9:23 a.m. July 27.

The thieves made off with a $1,000 television, a $100 shotgun and a coin collection valued at $100, according to Columbus police reports. Damage to the front door of the house was estimated at $500.

A Broadmeadows Boulevard man reported at 5:23 p.m. July 24 that someone had entered his residence through a window that cannot be locked and made off with $9,700 worth of jewelry, televisions, computers, a digital camera and electronic gaming equipment. The victim said the break-in occurred sometime after 8 p.m. the previous day.

Two residents of an apartment in the 3100 block of Indianola Avenue contacted officers at 7:56 p.m. July 29 to report that, earlier in the day, they were looking at an apartment a few blocks from their residence when they observed a naked man viewing them through a pair of binoculars.

A Weisheimer Road woman said she was threatened verbally at 11 p.m. July 24 and she believes the individual is capable of carrying out the threat. The victim filed the report at 12:10 p.m. July 25.
