Man, woman can't agree on who assaulted whom
A woman said she was assaulted by a man in the 2500 block of North High Street at 1:05 a.m. Feb. 24, but the accused said she was the one who attacked him, according to Columbus police reports.
No one was arrested, according to reports.
A West Royal Forest Boulevard woman said she was home at 3:12 p.m. Feb. 18 when an SUV was driven onto her property and the occupant proceeded to steal $500 worth of copper gutters and downspouts. The victim, according to reports, called her mother after the vehicle drove away, and the mother contacted police. A neighbor took photos of the suspect and the SUV, police reports said.
An East Beechwold Avenue man contacted police at 10:24 p.m. Feb. 24 to report his garage had been broken into several days earlier. Nothing was taken, but damage to a garage door was estimated at $50.
A Sharon Park Avenue woman reported at 2:36 p.m. Feb. 23 that someone had stolen her identity two days earlier and had obtained credit cards under her name.
A Blenheim Road resident said he was threatened with bodily harm at 1 p.m. Feb. 23 while at a business in the 2800 block of North High Street.
