Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center officials are seeking community support to make this year's EAS Ring Around the Roses more successful than ever.
The sixth annual fundraising run will be held May 27, beginning before 9 a.m. at Whetstone High School, 4405 Scenic Drive.
The 5K walk-run has become a Memorial Day tradition in Clintonville, with hundreds of runners and other participants beginning their holiday with the event at the Park of Roses and the nearby high school, said CRC spokesman Cliff Wiltshire.
"This year's event is a great opportunity to contribute to the CRC in a way that increases a business' profile as a community leader," he said.
Sponsors will be accepted at the $1,000, $500, $250 and $100 levels. These fees are due by Friday, April 12, in order to get recognition on race T-shirts and runner registration forms. Those interested should send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 614-268-3539.
Depending on the level of sponsorship, a business or agency can receive a logo and name recognition on T-shirts and all pre- and post-race information, free race registrations and the opportunity to set up a booth during the event to promote the business.
Registration for runners and walkers can be completed at signmeup.com/site/online-event-registration/91462. Price breaks are available to runners and walkers who sign up before May 1 and also before the race.
Participants in the Kids Fun Run, which will start at 8:30 a.m., can run for free, although registration is encouraged.
