Talita’s return to Clintonville takes slight detour

By

Talita’s Mexican Kitchen will make its return to Clintonville, but in a different location than originally planned.

The quick-casual Tex-Mex restaurant is taking over the former Graffiti Burger site at 2700 N. High St.

Frank Prince, owner of Talita’s in Grove City, said he needs to make a few changes to the space, so he wasn’t ready to announce a target opening date.

“It shouldn’t take that long,” he said.

Prince had intended to take over the former Babushka’s Kitchen storefront at 4675 N. High St., but the lease never materialized, he said.

The original Talita’s was founded in 1968 in South Clintonville, not too far from the future restaurant. It moved a short distance, to 2997 N. High, then closed for good in 2007.
