The Center for Wholeness will open its new space to the public for an open house event at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 3.

Formerly located on Indianola Avenue just north of East North Broadway, the center has moved to Glenmont and North High Street, at 4041 N. High St., Suite 100.

The center is moving into the new, larger space to accommodate its growing class schedule and programming.

Three local restaurants, Smith's Deli, Patty Cake Bakery and Chef Del Sroufe, are donating food for the event. Additionally, other local businesses and several yoga instructors at the center are donating goods, services or classes for a drawing that will be part of the open house celebration. The evening also will include a program providing information about the center as well as live music and dance performances.

The Center for Wholeness is a nonprofit organization in Clintonville staffed by volunteers focused on wellness education. Founded in 1996, the center's charter is to promote the holistic and healing arts, education and sciences.
