Capitol City Chorus, "Strolling Down Memory Lane," 7:30 p.m. May 17, at the Martin Janis Center Ohio Expo Center, 11th Avenue entrance. The 30-member male barbershop chorus will be joined by the 2011 International Seniors Quartet Champion, Over Easy. Tickets will be available at the door. Parking is free.
Our Lady of Peace, concert featuring the Swing's the Thing Big Band and the church's choir and soloists, 4 p.m. May 19 at 20 E. Dominion. Selections will include a Les Miserables medley and a tribute to Marvin Hamlisch. Linda Ebright, minister of music, will lead the group with Eileen Huston, accompanist. Vocal soloists include Maria Zarick, Deb Colasurd, Wendy Rieser, Catherine Varga, Issac Ruiz, Richard Celestina, Shelley Beaty, and guests Jeff Rone and Jennifer Marcellana. This is an annual free concert.
Wellness Forum, Dinner at the Forum, 6 p.m. May 21 at 510 E. Wilson Bridge Rd, Suite G, Worthington. Cookbook author and celebrity Chef Del Sroufe and Dr. Pam Popper, executive director of the Wellness Forum, will be featured. The dinner and presentation on healthy eating is appropriate for anyone wanting to achieve better health or improve health conditions. Clintonville Woman's Club, membership-wide garage sale, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 31, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 1, at the clubhouse, 3951 N. High St. Homemade baked goods also will be offered. All funds raised will provide support for CWC and the initiatives it is involved in such as the Clintonville Resource Center, Operation Buckeye and the Memory Lane project on West North Broadway.
