Pride Worship Service set at UMC

The Pride Worship Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, June 21, at North Broadway United Methodist Church, 48 E. North Broadway.

Members and guests from surrounding central Ohio congregations and the UMC Reconciling Congregations will attend. Pastor Deborah Stevens will preach "Pride Changes Lives: From Exiled to Reconciled," and a combined choir will be directed by Bryan Babcock, choir director for Maynard Avenue UMC.

The worship celebration in the Christian tradition is open to anyone of any faith tradition and to people of all gender identities and sexual orientations.

The purpose of the service is to celebrate the diversity of the community and be empowered to continue witnessing for justice for all people.
