Area residents complete leadership program
Leadership Columbus, a community leadership program focused on building participants' skills while exploring the city's critical issues and challenges, recently recognized its class of 2013 graduates.
For the past 10 months, participants attended training sessions that included a "laboratory" component in which the class worked collaboratively in small group projects with several non-profits, such as the Capital Area Humane Society, Central Ohio Community Improvement Corporation and Flying Horse Farms.
Clintonville and Beechwold residents among the graduates are: Erin Cleary, Kegler Brown Hill & Ritter Co.; Todd Dieffenderfer, United Way of Central Ohio; Genevieve Reiner, Oakland Nursery In-House Counsel; Lee Ann Schwope, Battelle; and Maureen Thomas, Girl Scouts of Ohio's Heartland.
